SECTION 4: U.S. MAJOR LEAGUE SPORTS

4.1. For all U.S. major league sports, unless otherwise stipulated, bets may be made on a home team win (2) and a road team win (1). For all U.S. major league sports including NFL Europe the away team is listed first. Parlay bets are available and all selections must be correct in order to win.

4.2. Overtime periods count for all U.S. Major League sports and proposition betting excluding MLS and WUSA, unless otherwise stipulated. Penalty shoot-outs when wagering on NHL penalty shootouts count. For the purposes of Total Goals, in the event of a game ending in overtime, and goes to a shootout, the winner of the shootout will be credited with one extra goal.

For European Ice Hockey Betting Rule 6.1 from SECTION 6: Soccer and other European Team Sports Rule applies

4.3. In the event of a game ending in a tie for straight up wagers, or a tie resulting on any bet placed on a moving line or point spread, neutral odds of 1.0 are awarded.

4.4. Games are official after:
  • NFL AND COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Fifty five (55) minutes of play.
  • NBA AND EUROPEAN BASKETBALL: Forty three (43) minutes of play.
  • COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Thirty five (35) minutes of play.
  • NHL, COLLEGE AND EUROPEAN ICE HOCKEY: Fifty five (55) minutes of play.
  • BASEBALL:
    a) All Baseball bets on the Money Line, Run Line, Total Runs and Proposition Bet Offers at Intertops are accepted as 'Listed Pitchers' only, unless otherwise stipulated. If both starting pitchers are not exactly as specified at the time of the bet, all wagers will be deemed no action and are refunded. Each team's starting pitcher is defined for wagering purposes as the pitcher that throws the initial pitch.

    b) When wagering on the Money Line, Run Line and Total Runs, the starting pitchers are listed in brackets next to the official team abbreviation. Click here for the full team names. When wagering on Proposition Bet Offers it is the customer's responsibility to ensure he/she is aware of any relevant pitcher changes prior to the start of a game.

    c) When wagering on the Money Line, games are official after five (5) innings of play. If the home team is leading, the game is official after 4½ innings of play. Thereafter, if a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called.

    d) All Baseball bets on Spring Training and Preseason Exhibition Games at Intertops are accepted as ‘Team v Team’ only regardless of the starting pitcher, unless otherwise stipulated.

    e) When wagering on Total Runs, Run Line and Proposition Bet Offers, the games must go nine (9) innings, 8½ innings if the home team is ahead, to have action. If a game goes past 9 innings and is not completed (i.e. suspended, curfew, rain delay, etc.), there is action on game total and runline wagers.

    f) Events do not carry over to the following day (unless otherwise specified).

    g) When wagering on Player to Score 1st Home Run, bets on players who have not been included in their team line-up when the first home run is scored will be refunded. Extra innings count.

    h) For wagers on the Grand Pepperoni all scheduled games must go at least 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is winning). If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before the completion of 8.5 innings, all wagers on the Baseball Grand Pepperoni will be refunded. Wagers on the Grand Pepperoni will not be refunded due to changes in pitchers.

    i) First-Half Wagers (5 innings):
All wagers on baseball first half (5 innings) will be decided on the basis of the score at the end of five full innings. If a game does not go five full innings, all first-half wagers (5 innings) will be canceled. Once 5 full innings have been completed, all wagers on the first half (5 innings) will stand. All first-half wagers (5 innings) must list both pitchers. If either listed pitcher does not start, wagers on the first half (5 innings) will be canceled.

    j) Innings betting:
When wagering on innings betting, you bet on a team to score more runs in that specific inning than the other team, or you can wager that both teams will be equal by backing the Tie. Both teams must bat in the specified innings for action.
4.5. World Baseball Classic: All spread, money line, and total wagers will have action in games stopped early due to the mercy rule.

4.6. For halftime bets, the entire second half must be played for action. Overtime periods are included as part of the second half.
